My name is Guillermo. The economic crisis has personally affected me a great deal. Even though I work, I don’t make enough money to survive. The prices of basic goods have gone up, some things are three times as expensive as they used to be.

At my job, they let four people go. They said it was because of the economic crisis but now the five of us who are left are doing all the work for the same pay and in the same amount of time because they pressure us constantly.

The rent has gone up as well. The subway is more expensive than it used to be and since I have a son in school, it’s much more difficult to support him.

I want to send very warm regards to everyone participating in Occupy Wall Street because it’s a noble cause. Don’t stop until you see a ray of hope in the midst all the billionaires’ greed. I hope the government makes them pay their fair share. How is it possible that I am one of the 99% and I pay more taxes than a billionaire?
