  • I am over 40k in debt in student loans, with one defaulted already.
  • I owe over 5k on my car.
  • I’ve never used a credit card in my entire life.
  • I live in a tiny 1-and-a-half-room apartment
  • I dont have or want cable TV
  • I dont smoke, drink, or do drugs
  • I have a full time job in my career field, which comes just short of actually paying my bills
  • I have zero dollars in savings, 401k, etc. No synthetic CDOs either…..
  • I have so much stress that I don’t know how to articulate it with language. I just scream.
  • I can’t find a better job, and was unemployed for over a year before finding this one.
  • I work long, hard, hours fixing problems created by other people.
  • I still pay my taxes proudly, and pay a higher percentage than wallstreet traders.
  • I don’t want a rolls-royce, my cheapo hyundai is fine
  • I havent been able to afford new clothes, even one shirt, in over two years.
  • I havent seen a dentist in thirteen years, havent seen a doctor in seven.
  • I’ve never admitted this before, but I had to pull one of my own wisdom teeth last year with a pair of pliers and over-the-counter ambesol because I couldn’t afford a dental visit (think about that … took me days to build up the guts …)
  • I have written two non-fiction books that nobody will publish.
  • I am a genius, tested with an IQ over 150, and speak three languages.

  • I’ve done everything right.
  • I’ve done everything you are supposed to do - work hard, go to college, work hard even more after college.

  • It’s still not enough.
  • I can’t get ahead.

  • I don’t care about being rich someday.
  • I just want less stress in my daily life and not to worry about my next meal.
