Full-Time Job, no dependents.
Paid off 28,000 of college debt by the age of 30.
My Parents are both middle class and require no care by me.
Steady 5 year relationship with an employed, debt-free American.
Our healthcare is provided by the NHS.
We have done everything “right”.

We should be in an ideal situation yet,

We still can’t afford to have kids.
We still can’t afford our own home.
We can’t afford to move back to the States because my (minimal) health issues won’t be covered because the USA won’t support National Health Care.
We can’t vote here and if we’re laid off we have no recourse to funds.


I miss home, but we’re trapped.
