I am 26 years old.

I graduated from law school in May 2011.

I am unemployed. Legal jobs are scarce – and most other jobs – even minimum wage – say I am a “liability” or over-qualified. I can’t get a small loan to start my own practice because I have nearly $185K in student loan debt.

My Father lost his business during the housing collapse in 2008. He is a Vietnam Vet – forced to live off of VA benefits.

My Mother struggles to provide for the two of them on a low-income job – which told her she was at the position’s pay limit.

I am Thankful to have my family. I am also thankful to have my health because I can’t afford health insurance.

My name is Ryan and I am the 99%.
