I am 20 years old with $40k+ in student loans with 2 years left. I worked two jobs and still didn’t make enough to pay bills let alone food. I had to pull a loan to make rent, because between class and work I became a complete insomniac. 

My parents make just over $100k/yr combined to support a family of six with two kids in college and no retirement plan.

I have to make a choice between making rent on time or buying food, what’s wrong with this picture?
