i drive 150 miles to a job where i have asked four times for a raise only to be told they cannot afford it – then hired someone to do half of what i do for twice the pay.

i have $9 in my bank account and $42,000 in student loans. i cannot finish my degree becasue my commute is too long and too far to get to classes.

five years ago my house was worth $150,000 – now its worthy $60,000 and the foreclosures have made my neighborhood unsafe for my newborn son.

i am the 99 percent.
