I am 23 years old and $50,000 in student loan debt. I work 40 hours a week for barely above minimum wage.

After my private loan came out of deferment, I started having to pay 1/5th of my monthly income to that ONE BILL. There is no chance of reduced payments or forbearance.

I haven’t been able to buy groceries in months but only qualify for $16 in food stamps. My work uniforms are falling apart but I can’t afford new ones.

When will the government start working for ALL Americans? What kind of future am I supposed to look forward to when I will NEVER be able to pay off my student loans? How am I supposed to “stimulate” the economy when I can’t afford the necessities?

I just want to be able to LIVE.
