I’m 25 years old and work in progressive politics – for labor unions, campaigns, and nonprofits – but it’s hard to get by on the $30,000 average salaries these jobs pay.  How can young people like me MAKE A DIFFERENCE IN THE WORLD, and still MAKE ENDS MEET?  We’ll never be able to start families and get ahead, unless we embody our own progressive values.
