We are the 99 percent. We are getting kicked out of our homes. We are forced to choose between groceries and rent. We are denied quality medical care. We are suffering from environmental pollution. We are working long hours for little pay and no rights, if we're working at all. We are getting nothing while the other 1 percent is getting everything. We are the 99 percent.

I am a 23 year old graduate student. I graduated from my undergrad program Magna Cum Laude, yet I recieved no scholarship and was not waived for out-of-state tuition despite meeting the University’s requirements. When I graduate in May, I will have over $50,000 in student loans. If I get into a doctoral program, I will gain another $65-80,000 just to hopefully get a secured job in this economy.
