We are the 99 percent. We are getting kicked out of our homes. We are forced to choose between groceries and rent. We are denied quality medical care. We are suffering from environmental pollution. We are working long hours for little pay and no rights, if we're working at all. We are getting nothing while the other 1 percent is getting everything. We are the 99 percent.

My wife and I both work full-time. We can pay our bills. We have no debt. But that’s not what this is about… We don’t want to live in a country with crumbling infrastructure and a non-existent social safety net. We don’t want to live in a country where 20% of children live in poverty. We don’t want to live in a country where seniors have to choose between buying food and buying medicine. We don’t want to live in a country where corporations own the political process. We want to live in a country we can be proud of. We are the 99%.
