I am the 99 percent. I am sorry to not post an actual picture, but I am a very shy person, but not shy enough to speak out. This is my story. I am a 14-year-old living in San Leandro, California. Though we are not necessarily low-class, we are able to pay rent, get a good education and groceries and get some stuff for ourselves (in fact I have a laptop) and even have health coverage, but my problem is that we are stuck. Even though we work very hard, we are stuck in a 2-room apartment, unable to move out due to the lack of affordable but spacious housing. My mom is a (legal) immigrant who thought it would be best to make money in America and come back to Mexico, but she was only hoodwinked. She even recently regretted moving here. We still can’t make much money while celebrities in Hollywood and big corporate stars steal the poor man’s money. We are tired with these new immigration laws (even though we live in California, thank god) in states only to find out that these corrupt politicians are STILL making money off these laws yet THEY should be held responsible for such high illegal immigration rates. I’m tired of my tax money going to let’s say, Rebecca Black or Paris Hilton. WE WANT JUSTICE.
