I am 27 years old. I was laid off in April 2009. I contracted thereafter. I finally landed an awesome job, but I am in 70k worth of debt because I needed my master’s to get it. My husband graduated from law school in 2010 and still hasn’t found a...

I am 27 years old. I was laid off in April 2009. I contracted thereafter. I finally landed an awesome job, but I am in 70k worth of debt because I needed my master’s to get it. My husband graduated from law school in 2010 and still hasn’t found a job. He is a waiter and has 100k of student loan debt.  (top 12% of his class).

My Dad lost his business of 25 yrs. His contract is almost up with his current job. He is in his 50’s and has no degree. My mom has been trying to get disability pay for 2 years and is getting the run around. She physically cannot work. I still have siblings at home. And an adopted cousin. I may have to take care of them. I don’t make that much.

My younger brother is a genius and he can’t get loans for school anymore. What a waste of talent.

I am the 99%.
