We are the 99 percent. We are getting kicked out of our homes. We are forced to choose between groceries and rent. We are denied quality medical care. We are suffering from environmental pollution. We are working long hours for little pay and no rights, if we're working at all. We are getting nothing while the other 1 percent is getting everything. We are the 99 percent.

I am finishing my masters this year, and do not believe I will be able to find a job in May.

I worked as many as three part-time jobs while a student, and I’m still drowning in debt.

I am one of the lucky ones - I have my health and no dependents to worry about. So far.

Not all of us want to be CEOs. The world needs bus drivers and janitors and farmers and assistants. We’re just tired of being punished for not being rich and exploited by those who are. It’s not a hand out, it’s equality.
