We are the 99 percent. We are getting kicked out of our homes. We are forced to choose between groceries and rent. We are denied quality medical care. We are suffering from environmental pollution. We are working long hours for little pay and no rights, if we're working at all. We are getting nothing while the other 1 percent is getting everything. We are the 99 percent.

39 years old. Single Mom. Full time college student, work part time. $40,000 student loan debt, earn less than $18,000 a year. (I also have Crohn’s Disease, Fibromyalgia and Hypothyroid yet still manage to work and go to school…) I skip 2 meals daily so my kid can eat. We WERE homeless, but JUST got into HUD apartments 5 days ago. I leave the house at 7:30 AM for school, then I work, & I get home at 9:30 PM. My teenager has to wait at the library all day after school, she has no childhood. We have no time together. Just school, work, & debt. WE ARE THE 99%. occupywallst.org
