We are the 99 percent. We are getting kicked out of our homes. We are forced to choose between groceries and rent. We are denied quality medical care. We are suffering from environmental pollution. We are working long hours for little pay and no rights, if we're working at all. We are getting nothing while the other 1 percent is getting everything. We are the 99 percent.

I worked hard and went to school. Entered “human services” to help your children and elderly with disabilities, mental illness, and mental retardation. For 30 years I have never gotten an actual raise. Pay never even kept up with inflation. Many years there was no adjustment. “Good” years we go 2%, though inflation was 3%. Year after year going down, down, down… And the irony of no insurance, or “too expensive to use” insurance to care for my own health problems. I am 99%. Occupy Wall Street.
