We are the 99 percent. We are getting kicked out of our homes. We are forced to choose between groceries and rent. We are denied quality medical care. We are suffering from environmental pollution. We are working long hours for little pay and no rights, if we're working at all. We are getting nothing while the other 1 percent is getting everything. We are the 99 percent.

I am an orphan and single Mom to an 18 month old.

I can’t find a safe place to live because I was fired a month into maternity leave and got evicted. We had to sleep on the couch in a one bedroom apartment the first year of my son’s life.

I work 40+ hours a week and cannot make ends meet. I have sold everything I have. The next time they screw up my check we’ll be out on the streets.

My son and I are the 99%
