We are the 99 percent. We are getting kicked out of our homes. We are forced to choose between groceries and rent. We are denied quality medical care. We are suffering from environmental pollution. We are working long hours for little pay and no rights, if we're working at all. We are getting nothing while the other 1 percent is getting everything. We are the 99 percent.

I had so much to say I didn’t have room for my face. I’m submitting both one with my face and without, hopefully one will make it. If you can’t read it, this is what mine says:

My father prays every night that he can continue to receive his social security check. Otherwise, both his disabled wife and he will be homeless again. As a spring graduate with a 3.19 GPA in the English Education field, I am completely maxed out on loans after only 4 years of college. With education budget cuts, it is almost impossible to receive scholarships that I try to apply for every semester. Now my pell grant is almost nonexistent and unavailable in the summer. This country will pay me low wages to work extremely hard to teach high school students. The benefits I should receive may not exist later on. As a lesbian, I will be persuaded to closet myself to keep my career. My rights to a family, adoption, partner benefits, and marriage will be ignored and denied. As a feminist, I will worry about my rights to control my uterus. I’m scared about my future because I know no one is representing me. I succeeded in college to live a life of debt. Why am I (and my family) invisible to our government? We are the 99%.
