We are the 99 percent. We are getting kicked out of our homes. We are forced to choose between groceries and rent. We are denied quality medical care. We are suffering from environmental pollution. We are working long hours for little pay and no rights, if we're working at all. We are getting nothing while the other 1 percent is getting everything. We are the 99 percent.

I’’m a 22 year old part time college student. I work almost 40 hours a week at 3 different jobs to help pay for school. My dad is 60 and will have to keep working to help put my younger brother through college. He’s 17 and a senior in high school but doesn’t see the point in doing well in school only to be thousands of dollars in debt like my older brother and me. My older brother graduated in 2008 and STILL can’t find a job in his field. My mom is 58 and needs knee surgery but we can’t afford it, even with health insurance. I’m an asthmatic, I have thyroid disease, and I have a small brain aneurysm. What happens when I need health insurance of my own? WE ARE THE 99%.
