We are the 99 percent. We are getting kicked out of our homes. We are forced to choose between groceries and rent. We are denied quality medical care. We are suffering from environmental pollution. We are working long hours for little pay and no rights, if we're working at all. We are getting nothing while the other 1 percent is getting everything. We are the 99 percent.

I have a Bachelor’s Degree in Telecommunications Management. I pay student loans and child support, with no $ left over for health care since I have only been able to find temporary contract work in my field. Health coverage could have prevented my heart attack I had six months ago and since my recovery, I’ve been laid off twice (right before I would have been eligible for employer benefits). My medication is crippling financially, but I NEED it to LIVE.

I AM THE 99 PERCENT.
