My family makes over $250,000 a year and we want to pay our fair share. We know it’s wrong to have such drastic economic inequality in the richest country in the world, and we want everyone to have access to the same opportunities that have allowed us to live so well. Education, health care, and a fair wage are fundamental rights, not whims of the free market. We want a fair progressive tax system because we know those who can afford to help those in need should do so. We are the compassionate 1%, and we want to help.
