I am going to school to become a Police Officer.  The courses required to become a low-ranking peace officer have been cut from the curriculum.  The Police Academy costs $3,600, and I can’t afford to take the time off of work, even if I had that much in savings.  How am I supposed to lift myself up and become a productive member of society if I can hardly pay my rent? I am the 99%.
